Each room is crafted to provide comfort and relaxation, ensuring you feel rejuvenated after your daily yoga practice.
Nourishing Meals for Body and Soul
Nourishing your body is an integral part of your journey here. Our experienced chefs prepare delicious and balanced vegetarian meals that not only satisfy your taste buds but also contribute to your overall well-being. Using locally sourced, organic ingredients, we create meals that align with the principles of yoga and wellness. Our kitchen is famous for its amazing meals. We believe that food is an accumulation of the body and that you can only function properly when you feed yourself with nourishing and healthy food. This is what we prepare for you every day, with love and devotion.
Yogic Diet for Vibrant Living
During your stay, you’ll experience the benefits of a yogic diet that emphasizes purity and balance. Our meals are designed to support your practice, enhance your energy levels, and promote mindful eating. The yogic diet not only nourishes your body but also encourages a deeper connection between your physical and spiritual self.
Yogic Science behind Food
The great yogi Swami Vivekananda said that a healthy mind resides in a healthy body, similarly, a great practitioner nurtures and blossoms only in an appropriate atmosphere. In the Ayurvedic tradition, foods that are considered sattvic include most vegetables, ghee (clarified butter), fruits, legumes, and whole grains. In contrast, tamasic foods (such as onions, meat, and garlic) and rajasic foods (such as coffee, hot peppers, and salt) can increase dullness or hyperactivity, respectively. But maintaining a diet that keeps your body light and your mind clear doesn’t necessarily mean eating only sattvic foods.
What is best for you and what in the end will best support your yoga practice is best recognised by your own constitution (known in the Ayurvedic tradition as vikriti) and your current state (prakriti), Kraftsow says. “Both need to be considered for deciding the perfect diet for an individual”
